1. About these terms
These Terms of Service apply to your use of the WorldWideMedia Consulting website and, unless otherwise agreed in writing, to services provided by WorldWideMedia Consulting. By using this website or engaging services, you agree to these terms.
2. Using this website
- You may use the website for lawful purposes only.
- Content is provided for general information and may change without notice.
- We may update or remove pages and features as the site evolves.
3. Services and scope
Work is delivered based on an agreed scope (for example a written proposal, statement of work, email confirmation, or project plan). Changes outside scope may require a revised plan and timeline.
4. Client responsibilities
- Provide timely access to systems, accounts, and stakeholders needed to complete the work.
- Supply accurate information and approve deliverables within reasonable timeframes.
- Maintain appropriate backups and credentials for services you control.
5. Payment and invoicing
- Invoices are issued according to the agreed engagement schedule (commonly monthly for ongoing work).
- Payment is due within the timeframe stated on the invoice.
- Late payment may pause delivery until accounts are brought up to date.
- Reasonable costs incurred on your behalf (for example third-party tools you ask us to procure) may be billed separately with prior agreement.
6. Cancellation and contract length
- Cancellation requires 60 days’ written notice unless a different notice period is agreed in writing.
- For retained partnerships, a 12-month term is recommended to allow discovery, delivery, and capability handover to be completed properly.
- If you cancel, we will aim to finish in-flight work within the notice period where practical, and provide handover notes for what remains.
- If we need to cancel, we will provide the same notice where reasonably possible and support transition of materials produced during the engagement.
7. Intellectual property
- Once invoices are paid in full, you own the deliverables created specifically for you (unless otherwise stated in writing).
- We retain ownership of pre-existing materials, templates, frameworks, and reusable know-how, and may reuse them across engagements.
8. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential information private and to use it only for delivering the engagement. This does not apply to information that is already public or was independently developed without reference to confidential information.
9. Third-party services
Many projects rely on third-party providers (for example hosting, email platforms, analytics tools, payment gateways). You remain responsible for third-party contracts and fees unless explicitly agreed otherwise. We are not liable for outages or changes caused by third parties.
10. Liability
We will use reasonable care and skill in delivering services. To the maximum extent permitted by law, WorldWideMedia Consulting is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Any liability is limited to the amount paid for the relevant services giving rise to the claim.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will be published on this page and will apply from the date it is posted.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Where disputes arise, the parties will attempt to resolve matters in good faith before pursuing formal action.
13. Contact
